Nissan Special Editions !

If you believe in Santa you should go out more and while you're at it go by your Nissan showroom and ask about special editions ! Why ? Because this holiday season Nissan worked hard and proposes quite a lot of unique versions of their different vehicles in Japan.

Let's start with the TEANA sedan, 2 special editions are now available on it, known as "230JK P-collection II" and "250JK FOUR P-collection II".
In the first one a 2.3L VQ23DE engine will move the front wheels while the second edition, with its 2.5L QR25DE engine on the 4 wheels, will benefit from features like the air conditionner with anti-bacteria technology.

These editions are not as special as one might expect but at prices from 2,467,500 to 2,677,500 yens it sure is a good deal.

Next one is the minivan Nissan PRESAGE with a "250 highway star J" special edition which is an improved "250 highway star" version...the special edition of a special edition basically.
So what have we got ? Aluminium wheels grow from 16 to 17 inches, halogen headlamps turn into xenon, aluminium pedals, radio CD with electronic tuner among others.
For the rest they kept the QR25DE engine, 2 or 4 wheel drive and 4 speeds automatic gearbox called E-ATx.

Still in the minivan category, the Nissan SERENA in 2 new versions, firstly the "20G HDD Navis Edition, the main feature here is the high tech satellite navigation through a liquid crystals WVGA screen that offers 4 times more pixels, the guaranty of an excellent tool is completed by 3 years of free of charge updates of the system !
Next with the SERENA is the "Highway star urban selection" which puts entertainment and interactivity at the center of the vehicle with; integrated TV tuner, rear view radar, Navis satellite navigation system, remote controlled sliding doors and other things...
For both versions the MR20DE engine will do the job in 2 or 4 wheel drive from 2,667,000 (first price of the Navis Edition in 2WD) to 3,284,400 yens (highest version of the "highway 250" in 4WD).

Last but not least we stay in the minivan category with the Nissan ELGRAND and yet another special edition that is so long it would need the whole trunk to fit: The Nissan ELGRAND 3.5L Highway Star Black Leather Limited Edition, wow !

This edition commemorates the 10 years anniversary of existence of the Nissan ELGRAND in Japan, it is fitted with unique steering wheel and shift knob decoration and improved usability like the sliding doors or removable seats to enjoy more space depending on the configuration(among other things).
