2012 Nissan GT-R Egoist for the luxury man in you

As if the new 2012 Nissan GT-R didn’t already terrorize the supercar world with its new 530-horsepower engine and a launch control system that propels the car like a bat out of hell. Now, Nissan is releasing a luxury version called the GT-R Egoist. While Nissan didn’t officially announce the GT-R Egoist yet, plenty of pictures are already flowing on the web.

So what’s the luxury in this GT-R Egoist? Well, for starter, the interior will feature upgraded leather and carbon fiber materials. In addition, the Nissan GT-R Egoist will be offered in a variety of colors. That is all we know for now, and soon Nissan will release more information about this GT-R Egoist, with pricing as well.

Toyota Smart INSECT

Toyota sedang menyiapkan mobil listrik baru yang diberi nama Smart INSECT  pada pameran elektronik CEATEC di Jepang. Smart INSECT (Information Network Social Electric City Transporter) adalah mobil listrik kursi tunggal yang menggunakan sensor-sensor gerak, pengenal suara dan perangkat lunak yang bisa memprediksi gerakan untuk berkomunikasi dengan pengemudi.

Menurut Toyota, Smart INSECT menggambarkan serangga kecil yang bisa terbang kesana-kemari dengan sayap besarnya, sama seperti kendaraan ini bisa bergerak bebas  dengan menggunakan jaringan informasi.  Atap gullwing Smart INSECT bisa dibuka hanya dengan mengibaskan tangan dan menggunakan software pengenal wajah untuk memastikan pengemudi adalah pemilik mobil.

Sensor great Smart INSECT bisa mendeteksi jika pemiliknya datang.  Dalam jarak tertentu, mobil ini langsung membuka pintu dan pemiliknya bisa langsung masuk ke mobil.  Dalam perjalanan, pengemudi bisa mendapat informasi lalulintas terkini dari Toyota Virtual Agent melalui smartphone.  Dengan smartphone pula, pengemudi bisa mengunci dan membuka kunci pintu dari dalam mobil. Dan masih banyak lagi fitur menarik.

2012 Audi R8 Exclusive Selection

For the first time, Audi debuts a Daytona Gray matte exterior for the 2012 Exclusive Selection Edition R8 V8, complete with carbon fiber exterior splitter and diffuser, 19″ titanium five-arm double spoke wheels, black grille surround, black exhaust finishers, R8 GT tail lamps, and red brake calipers. Inside, the R8 V8 features an exclusive leather package with Crimson Red elements and contrast stitching, exclusive leather Navigation surround, and a thicker contoured leather multifunctional steering wheel for a sportier grip. The 2012 Exclusive Selection Edition R8 V8 is equipped with a 4.2-liter FSI® V8 which generates 430 hp at 7,900 rpm, with 316 lb-ft of torque at 4,500 – 6,000 rpm.

The 2012 Exclusive Selection Edition R8 V10 comes with a shimmering Ibis white exterior and Brilliant Black features as well as R8 GT tail lamps and 19″ bi-color e-tron wheels. Ibis finishes and Alabaster White contrast stitching, as well as a Carbon Fiber monoposto driver’s cockpit, completes the interior, which also features an exclusive leather Navigation surround and contoured steering wheel. The 2012 Exclusive Selection Edition R8 V10 is equipped with a 5.2-liter FSI V10, and produces 525 hp at 8,000 rpm with 391 lb-ft of torque at 6,500 rpm.
